Abstract

This study explores the impact of interactive e-learning on developing electronic archiving skills among students at King Abdulaziz University's Management information system department. It aims to identify key electronic archiving skills necessary in the digital age, assess the effectiveness of an interactive e-learning program in improving both cognitive and practical aspects of these skills, and analyze the overall impact of this e-learning environment on skill development. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest approach, the study measures skill changes before and after the e-learning program. Results indicate that interactive e-learning significantly enhances students' electronic archiving skills, thereby advancing their digital competencies and highlighting the value of such educational environments in fostering essential digital skills.Higher education has undergone a significant transformation in recent years due to technological advancements and the proliferation of the internet, making interactive e-learning a powerful tool for enhancing leadership skills among university students. Interactive e-learning relies on the use of advanced technologies and online Learning Management Systems (LMS) to provide a rich and dynamic educational environment that improves the learning experience and enhances students' leadership skills. This type of learning offers an innovative solution that allows students to interact with academic content in various and advanced ways, fostering critical and creative thinking, and providing opportunities to develop essential leadership skills (Brown & Charlier, 2013).
